Mtre. Courtemanche obtained a diploma in notarial law at the University of Ottawa in 1980 and continued her studies obtaining a certificate in legislative drafting in 1981 while beginning her practice of notarial law at the office of Mtre. Roland Théorêt of which she today holds the minutes.
Within her community, Mtre. Courtemanche has occupied different posts of administration, has been involved as law professor and has given many conferences regarding wills and mandates in case of inaptitude.
